LUKAS LI
Lukas's artistic talent was recognized by the teachers at Phil-Mont Christian Academy, who hailed him as the second-best painter among all three hundred students.
Testimony:
I am Lukas Li's mother, and I would like to witness Lukas's experience of learning painting online with Teacher Charlotte over the past two years.
Lukas started learning painting from scratch online with Teacher Charlotte. Initially, I enrolled him with the simple intention of nurturing his interests and hobbies. I never expected that from not being able to draw at all, his painting skills would steadily improve, and he would quickly develop a strong interest in painting. At the same time, he also received high recognition at his school. He attends Phil Mont Christian Academy, a very good Christian school here in Philadelphia with only 300 students. His Grade 1 homeroom teacher said Lukas was ranked 2nd in painting at their school, with the 1st being a 19-year-old high school student. When I heard the teacher's evaluation of his painting skills, as a mother, I felt a deep reverence for God. I was determined to nurture the gifts God has given him with reverence.
When Lukas was in Grade 2, Charlotte slowly began teaching them to use the words of the Bible to paint, conveying God's love. Last Christmas, Lukas painted a pair of praying hands for his homeroom teacher and wrote a scripture on it as a gift. The teacher was very happy and surprised when she received the painting. She wrote a special card expressing her love and appreciation for Lukas's painting and said she would cherish it forever.
As parents, we are very grateful for Teacher Charlotte's hard work and sacrifice. If it weren't for Charlotte's tireless persistence in teaching and nurturing Lukas for over two years, we would never have known about his talent in painting, nor would we have known how to cultivate it. We wouldn't have imagined that his talent would be used by God to spread His love.
